Record Throw Feature

There used to be a “record throw” icon just above the spot where the score for each hole is logged in.

It worked great since the app knows where the tee pad is which gives a more accurate distance. What happened to that feature. Am I doing something wrong or has it been eliminated?

Hey Cy! If you are scoring with throw tracker it’s still there. But if you are scoring with just scores, you can still accomplish the same thing by holding down on the map. If you just tap and hold in the location that your disc landed, it will do the same thing as if you tapped the record throw button. If you have any issues with this though, please let us know!

It worked better before. Most people don’t want to use throw tracker and track every single throw. They just want to record an occasional good drive or whatever. Having to hold down your finger on the map, you sometimes miss the exact spot where you’re standing. Plus, if you record the throw by pressing the spot on the map, you then have to hit the + button multiple times – each time you press it, the window pops up for you to record what happened for just that one throw. Before this change, when there was an actual Record Throw button to press, when you finished the hole a few strokes later, each time you chose what happened to a throw, the window stayed up so you could quickly record what happened with all of the throws on that hole. This is another thing that was changed for the worse in the app, for no apparent reason.
