Feature Request: Track discs used for each throw in UDisc

Hi! Just got into disc golf a few months ago and I’m a big fan of the app. One feature I would love to see is the ability to record the disc I used and the throw I used on each. Like the disc measuring UI, but for each throw the account holder of the app takes. Or maybe for each person who has a UDisc Pro account synced to the game.

I think it would be especially helpful for courses one has played multiple times like their home course. Would be awesome to look back and see how my holes have gone when I’ve thrown a forehand Mamba vs. a backhand Mako3 on the second throw of the hole, for example.

Then maybe for when multiple players have their game synced with UDisc Pro, each fills out their own throws, discs, etc. in addition to their number of throws and distances like usual.

Hi Nathaniel, Thanks so much for contributing to the Community. There is an option to record full stats when playing a round as well as recording what disc you threw. I’ll link an article here with a bit more info if you’re interested. How to score a disc golf round on UDisc with full stats : UDisc Support
Hope this helps! Best, Team UDisc

Hi BeckyKate,

Thanks so much for the message. I think I may have misrepresented the feature I want to see, so please let me re-explain:

Right now when I have ‘record full stats’ enabled, I can input where my throw landed. I press the + button, choose where the disc landed, and that’s it. I would LOVE for there to be another popup after ‘where did it land’ that asks the disc I used, forehand or backhand, and what angle (hyzer, anhyzer, flat). I want this to be distinctly separate from measuring my throws. I would like to be able to go back and look at my past score and see what disc I threw and how, for which hole and which throw of that hole.

If this doesn’t make sense still I am happy to photoshop together a mockup of the idea and post it here.

I see now! Thank you for explaining further. That is a neat idea and I can see how it would be fun to look back and see how and when you used each of your discs. This isn’t something available now, but I will be sure to pass this along to the team so perhaps in the future it could be an option. Hope you have a terrific day, Nathaniel!
Best, Becky Kate

This would be extremely helpful in multi-round tournaments to be able to see: what disc I threw, backhand vs forehand, hyzer vs anhyzer, etc…

Even better if I you could see a heat chart of recent throws on that hole. To see what path has been you most successful, what disc tends to put you where…
