I often play training rounds (single or with friends) where we throw more than one disc, and would like to keep separate scorecards for the separate throws/discs. For instance if you play a training round on your own, throwing 3 discs every time throughout the whole round, then you would end up with 3 different total scores at the end of the round. In other words, similar to having multiple players on the scorecard, except you have multiple discs for each player. I think this would be a great feature to have in UDisc, especially for training purposes.
For this I set up a card with my primary account, and add a second player (“player2” or AO2). There’s no account associated with player2, so that score isn’t saved in its own profile, but it’ll always be on that scorecard. If I really want to record player2’s round in my stats, I’ll then just make a new card with my main profile and enter the scores from player2’s round.
It would be a nice feature to build into uDisc where we could do this on a single card and all the stats record to our history
AJ’s suggestion above here is the best way to handle this currently. Hitting “Create new player” adds a local player (without a full UDisc account profile) that you can reuse for future rounds. Another way to use this would be if you want to create an “off-hand” player to track how you’re scoring when throwing with your non-dominant hand. Cheers!
Thanks, good suggestion! But it would definitely be great if they added this feature, so the stats and everything would be linked to your player profile.
Yeah, it’s definitely a workaround, but I really hope this feature will be added at some point, so the stats and everything would be linked to your own player profile.
