Request: Simple “measure throw” ruler button while playing a round without tracking all throws

I used to use the “record throw” then measure (ruler) then once throw info is saved id hit the trash can because I just wanted to record this throw’s distance (for knowing max/avg for my discs) and then use normal scoring input for the hole.

With the most recent update record throw seems to have disappeared and I have to take my blue dot on the map instead of it just reading my current location (easy to be inaccurate) and when I go through a similar above workflow I’ve had it erase my scores for some holes! Seems like some sort of bug in toggling back to per hole scoring mode vs throw tracking mode on a hole where you’ve added a throw, even if that throw was then deleted.

All I wanna do is record my drive distance off the tee pad during a round, please help make that a simple workflow! (Or if it’s already there, show me how?)

Thank you!

PS if I could do throw tracker from the Apple Watch app I’d use it, but best I can tell I need to input tracked throws on my phone, which breaks my practice round flow. Also wish the watch app showed “distance from tee” but realize there’s limited space.

Appreciate this feedback, @ceeekay! The record throw option is still available if you tap and hold on the map. Is this the route you’ve tried? Your scores shouldn’t be erasing for past holes so if you’re noticing this, please send any screenshots and other details to help@udisc.com.

Thanks Jenn! There is definitely something funky happening with erasing recorded throws affecting scores from other holes. I’ll try to take a screen recording next time I go to measure a throw to hopefully reproduce it really clearly. Will send a link to the email address provided. Thanks for the tip!
