First thing is a Club feature. Most areas already have their own local clubs/groups that put on events and share information about their local courses. Typically they use Discord to provide more current information on events, course maintenance, lost/found discs, tags, etc. It would be awesome if there was a feature to create clubs right on uDisc. Then the clubs can add their leagues, cleanup days, tournaments, tag rounds, etc. I know the events tab does most of that but this would basically be a place to find the people that do a lot of the work in their specific area. That way club members can check on any events pertaining to that specific club. Doesn’t need any sort of communication or comment section aspect. That could reside on different apps like Discord, like it does already. Would also be neat to see little badges showing that you are apart of “this club”.
The second thing is something I’ve been thinking about for awhile now. A Tag feature. Still kind of has to do with the club stuff. A lot of these clubs have their own bag tags. Almost none of them get used because nobody wants to play for them. It is a real pain in our group/area. Especially in larger numbers. A few of us were tired of it so we created our own tags. There’s only 7 of us. The one rule for our tags is that tags are always in play. Whether we play 18, 9, 3 or whatever. The tags are up for grabs. It would be awesome if there was a Tags feature within the app. Could be something to go along with the clubs thing too. Where it would show on your profile that you have tags from whichever clubs. Then if you play with anyone from the same club, then the tags would be played for as well as the round itself.
These ideas have already been thrown out there, but here’s my vote for them as well.
