So I have a course, and its not an official course, just a plot of land. I setup a potential layout (its just a pop up) and then we wanted to see how a different layout would work, and its just a mess,
Why cant i just create a layout, that says, stand on teepad, OK now stand at basket OK, ( like it did when i made the 1st one). creating a second layout is just so messy and tedious creating temp 1 pad temp 1 basket for each hole.
Hey Jamie, that’s totally understandable. For what you’re trying to do, it might be easier to add the new elements on the Map Manager and not necessarily through the Layout Builder. If you want some help with this, please reach out to me at help@udisc.com and I’ll do whatever I can to help.
you really need to bring it back and/or allow it. This is just so much work now to great an alternate layout that doesnt use most of the baskets. this is just going to make management so gross, have 20 different teepads for hole 1 that are on opposite sides of the entire course.
just allow Click and click, CLick im at the teepad, click im at the basket next!
do not force me to create TEMP teepead 01aglow then 01glow_dec and then 01 glow_dec-b
ok so i tried your suggest, i opened map manager and so i selected new tee, clicked on it.and now its asking me what basket is it going to? WELL there is no basket because we are not using our courses reg baskets. Our course has 9 baskets and 1 practice (so 10) im tryhing to make a 18 hole layout we are bringing our own baskets.. you have made this app so much worst for these types of cases, why does our course have 42 teepads saved for a 9 hole course, this process is going make the manager so bloated NO ONE will want to touch it.
Hey Jamie, I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling. You are correct that the tools are not necessarily optimized for what you’re trying to accomplish. They are designed and optimized primarily for standard disc golf courses. What you’re trying to do is definitely possible, but might take a little extra work. Hi mark, again i was able to make this layout, but now with this method my park with 9 baskets, now has 58 teepads, 25 basket locations and 12 targets.. ( the 12 targets is fine) but with the removal of the Older Map Maker, its jsut bloats our map manager, you would need a degree in map decypher what the heck is going on in 2 years from now.
