Highlight the active tee box (a different color)

I understand that the current tee box is slightly enlarged and maybe slightly brighter however, I recently played a course that was on a playground that wasn’t much bigger then 200x300ft and to have all 18 tee boxes on the screen at once was a total cluster.

It would take me and my buddy a couple minutes of arguing to figure out what tee box we were actually supposed to be on; there were overlapping tee boxes and reused tee boxes for different baskets and it felt like playing where’s waldo.

It seems like it would be a simple add to not only modify the “current tee box” how it is already but also change the color profile to be green or blue or just anything to differentiate it more from the rest of them on the screen.

Thanks very much for your thoughtful message, Victor! Our team has some ideas for improving the layout map experience, and this is an interesting one to consider. Are you referring to a specific course that you could point us toward as an example, where the tee boxes are particularly close together?

Came here to see if this had already been suggested. Would love to see this feature on a future update as it’s very difficult on our little 9 hole course that has 3 tee boxes (for each hole ) to see which one you’re supposed to be playing. The slightly enlarged tee box is hard to see and not everyone knows you can click on the basket icon for full details. Thanks!

Take a peek at the layout for the full 20-basket course for McBride Park in Springfield, Mo. The tee boxes and baskets are reused for the back 10 holes and the crisscrossing fairway lines, as well as the overlaying tee/baskets, makes it very hard to tell which one is the current or next hole to play.

If the next tee area was colored DISTINCTIVELY different than all the rest of the tee boxes (like the basket is), it would make it so much easier to see which hole is to be played.

Thanks so much!

Thank you Tom! The stacked (duplicate) tee pad icons are contributing to the issue here, making it hard to tell in the app which tee pad you’re playing. If they are actually the same tee pad, then there shouldn’t be multiple tee pad icons representing the different holes that play from the same tee. Deleting the stacked (duplicate) tee pads would clean up the map’s look and feel, more accurately represent the course elements, and improve the underlying performance stats from players who visit and keep score.
