Could there be rating for amount of poison ivy/oak/sumac on a course. And or perhaps the amount of thorny plants ( just off the fairway.)

Yes, an “ick” factor would be very nice. A course can be very pretty but have poison ivy next to trees that are in the fairway or thatch and thicket just off the fairway that will eat your discs and never spit them out. 
Good idea. Those plants are largely invisible during the winter and can be a surprise come spring on local courses. When traveling to new courses it takes a lot of time searching through reviews to see if anyone has mentioned poison ivy, oak, sumac.
