It’s harder to find the next tee pad than it should be. On an unfamiliar course, the layout map rotating makes it harder to know which direction to walk. Stopping the rotation was suggested in another post. But I think the highlighting itself is poor. The next hole’s BASKET pin is enlarged and highlighted with a green circle. Fine. But why? You’re not walking to the next basket; you’re trying to find the next TEE PAD. Only after you find that do you care about the next basket position. So, the rectangle outlining the next TEE PAD should really be enlarged and highlighted, perhaps with a colored border that pulses or something. That would help a lot. Also, on the layout map there could even be a dotted line and/or an arrow pointing from the basket you’re at to the next tee pad. These suggestions, combined with the idea in the other thread to lock the rotation when you press the next hole number, would make it much easier to navigate around an unfamiliar course.
