There are several mini disc golf courses in my area which I play on occasion. However, it seems the rating system for mini disc golf has not been adjusted at all from normal disc golf to account for the different type of disc. It only seems to take into account the course features (hole length, how open the fairway is, etc.). This seems to always give a much lower rating than normal disc golf even though the skill required is comparable since its not only the length of hole that is smaller but also the size of the disc and basket.
I think all stats and courses for mini disc golf should be segregated from normal disc golf, i.e:
- Different basket icon on the app from the full 18/less than 18 icons.
- Stats separate from normal disc golf course stats
- Separate rating system that takes into account the different type of discs being used
