Genuineness of a course review (new feature)

Adding number of courses played on a persons course review

I see way too often a bad course review (or even a good one) that seems very uneducated as when I play, it doesn’t describe the course at all. To test how well seasoned a disc golfer that has written a review is, leading to possibly how accurate the review is, I propose adding an amount of courses and/or rounds logged on UDisc as a footnote of the course review. As an example, suppose a new course popped up and someone wrote a 5 star review saying simply “great course” or something to that extent. If you are thinking about playing this course, that obviously doesn’t help much, but if this player had logged 200 rounds on UDisc and 75 courses, this rating would mean a lot more! Similarly, if this player had only logged, say, 3 rounds, and 1 course, this review could be potentially disregarded, or at least less likely to be accurate. By no means am I trying to belittle players without many rounds, but I see non descriptive reviews way too often that many times don’t mean a lot, and this new feature could make a non descriptive review much more meaningful.

I think another good insight would being able to see the reviewers average rating at the time of the review. You are 170 rated playing a course that is 210 for par, yeah, maybe you rate it more poorly than someone with a higher rating. However, as a player that is lower rated, maybe that review means more to you than someone 200+ rated.

This already exists today.

Really? I haven’t seen a feature with it, but if there is one, please tell me where I can find it!

If you look at course reviews every reviewer has a number and a little basket next to it which correlates to how many courses they have played

Oh wow! Thanks for showing me!

It does show how many courses the reviewer has played at the time.

See mine has 2000+, the next one has 1 course
