Huawei is a huge provider of smartwatches.
Would it be possible to get UDisc also for their GT watches?
Thanks for reaching out here. Currently adding support for these watches isn’t on our near term roadmap. Here you can find a list of the smartwatches that UDisc does support!
As the Samsung store has not only stopped support for Tizen devices like the older Galaxy Watch, but has actively removed access so they can no longer load historic apps..
-If you reset your Tizen OS device you will no longer be able to load the Udisc APP (or ANY app).
My Question… Although the watch has been rendered near useless, it is still possible to push apps to it in developer mode (or at least that’s what I’m told, and investigating)… Does someone have a copy of the UDISC .tpk app. (or know how I can get it as the Samsung Store has removed access to it)
I have a Galaxy watch and it is still great for messages etc. (and you can even control your PC/Android cursor with its built in PPT). There is a studio you can make watch faces for, and it appears there is full instruction for pushing the faces you create, direct to the watch from your PC using the phones developer mode.. and so far as I have found.. if I can get a copy of the UDISC Galaxy watch companion (for Tizen OS) I may be able to push it to the phone…
and this will free up 2nd hand top quality watches going extremely cheap, to use with Udisc
(I got my Galaxy R800 for $60 NZD which is about the price of 2 discs (or one real good one)).
