Please add multiple layouts for different people in a card

Especially when playing with people who are different skill levels it would be nice to choose more then one layout per card. It’s hard when 3 advanced players are playing with a beginner and he has to play the longs in order to keep one card. This would make the round more enjoyable for everyone and needs to be added.

This is a big one for me as I have kids, kids who don’t have their own cell phones to pull up a different layout and create a different card. I don’t know how you’d make this work, but I will say I’d appreciate it.

Thanks guys! That is great feedback and we’ll for sure pass it along to the team. As the less skilled player on the card usually, I totally get this. It’s not currently on the docket, but could be considered for the future! Keep the ideas coming! :folded_hands:

I run into this almost weekly as our club will play different layouts based on skill level currently requiring different scorecards.

We also play a version of doubles where one player throws off the long tees and the other off the short, or we will play short to gold on odd holes and long to red on even holes.

I also think they need the ability to select specific holes on a layout. For example, we have a course that we often will play holes 1-3 and then 13-18 when we are limited on time. Short of having the ambassador create dozens of unique layouts, the only way to currently do this is to play the selected holes and then finish an incomplete scorecard.

Thanks for continuing the conversation here @bsgillis! One suggestion about playing less holes is that you can use the new layout builder in your League or Event tools to build the layout that works best for your event. This doesn’t require you to be a Course Ambassador. More about this here: 🏆 How should I create an event-specific layout in UDisc? | UDisc Support

It may not fit your event, but also wanted to suggest using divisions and pools if you have different groups of players playing different layouts. This is all possible with leagues and events.

Thanks for the suggestions. This wouldn’t work for all our needs.

We often play a doubles round where players A1 and B1 tee off short to long while players A2 and B2 tee off long to short. After the tee shot, each team picks the tee shot they want to take. From there they must continue to the basket that the drive was being thrown to.

That means on any given hole you may have one team going to short while the other goes to long, or they may both be going to short or both to long. Every hole changes based on the tee shots, so it ain’t possible to set this up beforehand or for the entire card.

Being able to pick tee pads and baskets per hole and per player/team would solve this as well as all the other variations we play.
