Playing holes all as par 3's - best approach?

Situation
5 of 6 local courses have soft par 4’s & 5’s - they are really par 3’s in the estimation of the folks I play with and other’s I’ve spoken with. We play the 5 courses most of the time.

What this means pretty much every time I play, I start a round & have to go through and manually edit 3-5 pars on holes. Sometimes I forgot & wonder why my round score doesn’t look right.

Background
There used to be a setting to play everything par 3 that went away. That worked well.

Assesssment
I can continue to try to remember to edit every round’s pars.

I could submit changes to all the course’s layouts to reflect the pars.

I could submit a new layout for each course that is “Par 3s”.

Recommendation
I’m wondering what the recommendation is for this situation?

The current editing every round every time I play greatly reduces my pleasure using Udisc to the point at times I’ve thought of just not renewing my subscription. I’d prefer to continue to support the app, but feel like having to correct something every time I use it isn’t sustainable.

Thanks

Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback, Brian! Editing the pars every time you play a round does sound tedious, so I can understand where you’re coming from here. Just to clarify, are the soft pars posted on physical tee signs at the course, or are the pars only defined in UDisc? When physical signs indicate a par for each hole, then generally we recommend that the course listing matches the stated pars on the signs.
