Drive location way off/error messages

on many drives the location is way off when I set it. it’s showing me driving towards different cages altogether, or some massive throws out of the park… even swimming out and marking a drive in the pond! I’ve put a disc in there to be sure, but certainly didn’t go out with my phone and mark it. the best one though is where it looks like I just tossed the disc up a few feet and caught it :joy:

also, and I don’t know if it’s connected to that but a lot of times when I go to mark my second throw in the cage, it gives me this weird error message about adding something and says something about +66 ft (which would possibly make sense if it has my initial drive 200/1,000 ft the other direction) then I have to remark my drive location and try again but it often repeats this error till I’m able to drop the pin (which i find remarkably difficult to grab and move, maybe that’s just me) in some location it deems reasonable for me to have been able to make a birdie putt, which I find a bit presumptuous… haha …so often I just end up giving up whenever it lets me move the pin close enough to accept a birdie putt, so many drive locations and putt distances aren’t recorded accurately at all.
anyway sorry for the book, but thanks for the read and any thoughts. overall though pretty cool app to have during a round. have you guys given any thoughts to being able to mark each throw location? if the accuracy is improved, that would be pretty cool to be able to do. thanks again

@monopono86 thanks for posting here! Can you clarify, are you using throw tracker and the location that you drop on the map doesn’t represent where you’re actually standing on the course?

When you view the map within your scorecard, does the mapping look accurate? Does it show your location relative to where you are on the course?

Can you send along these screenshot and the error messages you’re receiving to help@udisc.com? We’d love to investigate more and better understand what you’re experiencing.

thank you for your reply, I’ll send those pictures to that link like you asked. yeah I just walk up to where my drive is and hit set location or whatever it says, then my phone goes in my back pocket. I honestly don’t look because I just want to mark it and stay in rhythm, so next time I’ll definitely pay attention to that.

Great, thank you! Any details you can send along to us at help@udisc.com would be helpful so we can look into this.
