Course editing bug in phone vs desktop

I created a main map with my iPhone and GPS. When I came home I wanted to convert it to a smart layout, and also fine tune the positioning of the tees and baskets. This I did based on the map on the desktop. This map was another map than in the phone, and when I posted the new smart layout the positions in the phone app was wrong. So now the course mapping is worse than the previous, dumb, layout. What can I do, from a distance? Since I’m not going to be there for a while.

Hi Magnus! Which course is it? I might be able to undo the conversion, and then import the previous layout’s GPS positioning so you can use those elements instead of the ones from your desktop mapping.

Hi David,
Great! It’s a course called Green Hotel Tällberg, in Sweden. I noticed that the satellite maps were not the same in my phone and my desktop. Hope it can be fixed.

Best regards
Magnus

And one more thing. I think the positioning is a little more accurate in the browser version if it’s possible to maybe adjust that in the old version of the main layout? The circle 1 and 2 view in the map creating mode is blurring the surroundings making it a little harder to place the baskets. I don’t see why you need to project that.

Thank you Magnus! If you just need to fine-tune things on the desktop version, then I’d encourage you to check out this article: 📍Fine-tuning tee and target positions | UDisc Support

But if you’d prefer that I undo the recent Smart Layout conversion, then please just let me know and I still be glad to give that a shot! Sincerely,
