Here are some proposed improvements. What do you think:
- Simple Course Sorting
- Currently courses only show up as white basket icons on the map search page. With a right click (or long hold on mobile), select one of the following colour coded options.
Options:
- Green: Priority Wishlist (Currently “wishlist”)
- Orange: Low priority Wishlist (Maybe if you have time)
- Red: Can’t or don’t want to play
- Purple: Played
- White: Unsorted
- Gold: Favorites
- (Open to feedback of what colours and labels you want!)
The basket icon will immediately change to that colour and that course will automatically be added to your “sorted lists”. Now you would be able to see courses that you care about at a glance on the search map. You could then toggle off any colour you don’t want to see so that you only see courses that you do want to see. You could also view the sorted courses in a list view for all of us who are task oriented and love to check off another course on our list.
This feature could be the first step in building out an achievements feature in UDisc with leaderboards of who has played the most different courses or badges for accomplishing motivating tasks like playing 100 courses, leaving 10 reviews, being #1 on a course leaderboard, etc.
Or it could remain as simple as this added feature to make accessing new courses easier and more enjoyable.
