I think it would be useful to create a plan for a specific layout where you can make personal notes about your approach to hole, such as “play for birdie”, “play for par”, etc. This would allow you to kind of self caddie a tournament or round based on a plan not in the moment feelings. I think the most beneficial way to represent this information would be a visual indicator for the hole to show what you should be playing for (eagle, par, birdie, bogey, etc), and if you click on that indicator it could expand out a small notes section. I think it would fit well in the bar above the map beside the par for the hole. Bonus points for a round summary afterwards that shows you how you scored per hole vs what your plan was.

Does your phone not have a notes app? Why on earth would UDisc need to have this feature.
This! I would pay more for this feature. I don’t need to be switching between apps. If I’m on hole ‘xyz’ of the course, I’d like to see what a threw the previous game and the results. I have 50 discs in my trunk and I can’t always remember which discs I threw on that particular course
