New course filtration with multiple choises, liked courses and countries

I have some suggestion for improvements to the course filtration in the course map/list in the app and on the web.

Suggested changed filtration functionality

  • Multiple choice options
I would like to see a change in the filtration of courses in the app and on the web, so that you can display multiple options at the same time. Not only showing courser played OR not played OR on the wishlist. But instead being able to handpick a combo. For an example: Showing both favourites/liked AND on the wishlist.

Suggested new filtration options

  • Liked courses
Being able to save played courses you liked in a list with your favorite courses. The same way you can save unplayed courses in the wish list.
  • Country
Many times it might be more convenient to travel far rather than travel across borders. So depending on where you live or visiting, it would be really practical to be able to filter courses based on a specific nation (or even open border regions like EEG/EU).

Super appreciate this feedback, @oskenb01!

A few follow-up questions:

  • When wanting to filter by courses played, not played, wishlisted - when are you wanting to view all of them at once? Can you give a specific example? Maybe, you you want to see unplayed & wishlisted together?
  • In terms of filtering by country, have you tried searching by country in the Courses tab? Does this lead to a result that might work for you?
  • Most often when I’m searching for a course to play next, I’m looking to either try something from the wishlist or play a course I liked. Following combinations is filtration alternatives that I think would be of use:
  1. Wishlist + played (liked)
  2. Wishlist + played (all)
  3. Played (liked) + not played
  • Yes! That seems to give the result I was looking for. I had no idea you could free text search to filter by country.

Glad to hear this free text worked for you, Oskar!

And thanks for explaining how you might use these filters. We’ll keep this on our radar for future improvements
