Expand on the friends functionality

I have a group of 6 friends and we’re all pretty active (playing 2-4 rounds each per week). We rely on someone sharing to a group text thread with a link to a live card for everyone to make comments as another plays a round. “Nick! You were heading for a course record until the 15th - did you shank it into the lake again?!”

What would be great is the ability to see when my ‘friends’ are playing an active round without them having to share the round. Obviously when starting a round a player should be able to determine of the current round is shared.
