I haven’t used the app a ton so I’m not sure if I haven’t found some features but some ideas:
Course chat section. I think if there was a dedicated chat section on the course page, it would create quite a bit of engagement. People could discuss tips, tricks, etc…park here, do this one hole 5, watch out for this, etc…
I think it would be nice if the directions button for the course was fixed at the top of the screen. It disappears when you scroll and I always forget it’s at the bottom. Directions are one of the main uses of UDisc for me.
Instead of having to click on the menu dropdown in the top right of the round overview page to then find the course details, I think it would be nice if you could just click on the course name, from your round overview page, and it take you to the course home page. That would seem intuitive to me.
Thanks Adam for these suggestions. I’ll definitely share them with the team. As for the last one, that is currently possible. Just tap on the course/layout name, and it will take you to the course page. If it’s not working in that way for you, please let me know!
Thanks for the response! To your feedback about getting to the course homepage from the round overview page: I was able to get to it but only by clicking in the yellow area. Before, I was trying to click on the course name (red area), and it does nothing. I would think clicking on the course name (red area) would make more sense than clicking on the course layout (yellow area) to get to the course homepage. Thanks!
That’s good feedback! I think that top space is often times filled with a custom round name, and doesn’t always say the course and layout, which is likely the reason for this design. But I can see exactly what you mean, and I’ll definitely share it with the team.
Have you considered adding a map feature for events? I’m sure many of us use the course location map all the time. Would be amazing if you could do the same thing for events
