Is there a way to set up scoring for an ace race league using the app?
We have a short pitch and putt course and I want to run a six-week ace race league. Two throws in each basket. 6 pts for an ace; 3 for metal and 1 for landing in a 10-foot circle around the basket.
Something that let us score points per hole and most points wins would be useful if you wanted to do something like a skins game too…
Thanks very much for your thoughtful feedback, Erick and Tim! These kinds of alternate scoring formats are not currently supported in UDisc, but they have been somewhat popularly requested of late and it’s on our team’s radar for a potential future development effort. Right now, standard stroke play is the only scoring method supported for UDisc Leagues and Events.
A more customizable points-based scoring format could possibly serve putting leagues and match play, in addition to ace races and skins like you’ve mentioned. Some additional investigation is still required before the UDisc team can begin building this kind of functionality, but we do absolutely recognize there’s an appetite for points-based scoring support (and there could be a good fit for this in a future UDisc app version). We will keep you in the loop on any major updates!
