# Private courses, how to find in app

I’m brand new to this, I just created a private course, it shows in Udisc web, was approved, but…

1. I can’t even find the course in the app to keep scores on, for my own course.
2. I know you can’t create an event on a private course, but how do I get my friends to see the course as well?

Have you tried to search the Course by its full name?

Thats how i had to find my back yard course the was private

Thanks for reaching out Steve! Just make sure that you type in the full course name exactly as it appears in UDisc. After you record a round there, then it should appear under the “Recent” tab in the app when you’re creating a scorecard too. You actually can create events on a private course also. Specifically for private events, the Quick Link (QR code) is a great shareable piece that you can send to your friends who might be interested in participating.
